    1. Logging into Your Website's Admin Panel

Begin by logging into your Squarespace website. The quickest way to access the admin panel is to go to your website and type "/config" after the URL. Hit enter, and if you haven't logged out previously, this will take you directly to your admin panel.

    2. Navigating to Permissions and Ownership

In the left sidebar of your admin panel, locate the "Settings" option. Within the Settings section, find "Permissions and Ownership." Click on it to reveal the permissions settings.

    3. Inviting a Contributor

Inside the Permissions and Ownership section, you'll see a black button that says "Invite Contributor." Click on it. Now, you'll need to input the contributor's name, email address, and other details. If the person already works on Squarespace, use the email associated with their account for seamless access to all their sites.

    4. Choosing Permission Levels

When inviting a contributor, you have various permission levels to choose from. These include full admin access, limited access for billing, website editor access, analytics viewer, comment moderator, store manager, email campaigns editor, and more. Select the appropriate level based on the tasks the contributor will handle.

    5. Toggling Permissions and Sending the Invitation

Toggle the selected permissions on and click "Invite." An email will be sent to the contributor, prompting them to set up their password. If they don't receive the email, advise them to check their spam or junk folders.

    6. Limitations Based on Your Squarespace Plan

Be aware of the limitations based on your Squarespace plan. Depending on the plan, you may only be allowed a specific number of contributors. If you encounter issues, consider upgrading your plan to accommodate more contributors.

In just a few simple steps, you've successfully granted someone access to your Squarespace website without compromising sensitive login information. If you have any questions or need more guidance, feel free to reach out. Otherwise, I will see you in the next video!

    Happy Squarespacing!
